The University of Vermont mens hockey team left Burlington International Airport at 11:45 a.m. (EST) and landed in Minneapolis at the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport at 2:30 p.m. (CST) today in preparation for its NCAA West Regional game against Wisconsin on Friday at 9 p.m. (EST)

Vermont held practice at the University of Minnesotas Ridder Arena from 3:30-4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Ridder Arena is the home of the womens hockey team at Minnesota and served as the host site for the 2010 NCAA Womens Frozen Four this past weekend.

Junior Kyle Medvec grew up in Burnsville, Minn., which is about 15 minutes from the Xcel Energy Center where Vermont meets Wisconsin on Friday at 9 p.m. (EST).
