Classic Game Room HD reviews ICE HOCKEY for NES Nintendo Entertainment System. Awesome 8-bit sports action and the chance to create your own team make Ice Hockey a must have for fans of old school sports games. Pick a fight with the opposing team and score frenzy, Ice Hockey is bad-ass. This CGR review of Ice Hockey for NES has gameplay from the NES Ice Hockey game cartridge showing Ice Hockey game play in HD action. Play as real-world countries and bend the laws of hockey. It’s not just hockey, it’s ICE HOCKEY.

Classic Game Room HD reviews NHL Hockey (’91) for the Sega Genesis. NHL Hockey from EA is the first EA Hockey game from Electronic Arts which was released in 1991 for the Sega Genesis and Mega Drive. This is my favorite sports game and plays fast and furious with barely any realism at all! Play as the Pittsburgh Penguins vs. the Winnipeg Jets, Hartford Whalers, Minnesota North Stars or Quebec Nordiques. NHL 91 is the best of the best with fast, responsive and simple controls. While NHL 10 from EA is a technical marvel and a masterpiece of multiplayer fun, for good old school brawling and scoring mayhem go with the older Sega Genesis NHL Hockey from 1991. This CGR review of NHL Hockey from EA has gameplay from EA Hockey aka NHL Hockey 91 (or NHL 91) for Megadrive and Genesis.
