Unofficial preview for the 2010 international peewee hockey tournament in Quebec, featuring some pictures and highlights from the 2009 championship, which was one of the best editions in the tournament history. This is also a tribute to one of the greatest sports tournaments in the world. Many young hockey players consider it as the best experience in their minor hockey years. It is also one of the hardest hockey championships to win, because of the high playing level.
What’s new for 2010? A feminine team from the province of Quebec will be playing in the Inter B championship. A team from Ukraine will play in AA. NHL active or retired players such as Mike Comrie, Teemu Selanne, Keith Tkachuk, Bryan Trottier, Cliff Ronning, Mark Messier, Philippe Boucher, Dainius Zubrus and Claude Lemieux should be in Quebec.
The 51st edition will take place from February 11th to 21st 2010.
About 2300 hockey players.
112 teams from 15 countries playing in 3 different levels.
A total attendance of about 200 000 people over 11 days.
Songs in this video: “Viva La Vida” and “Fix You”, both from Coldplay. Watch in HQ.
