I would also like a website that explaines the different types of saves and shows how to dress up as an ice hockey goalie, example, what things u put on first and in what order.
Thanks
Goaltenders need the following equipment and it generally goes on in this order. Some people may do it differently, but it’s impossible to do it drastically different.
1) Cup (most important piece of equipment!)
2) Garter belt and socks
- Some people wear shorts with velco tabs to hold the socks up and a built in cup.
3) Hockey Pants
4) Skates
5) Leg pads
6) Chest protector
7) Helmet/mask
Gloves
There are several types of saves. Kick save, glove save, blocker save, stick save, etc. Below are a couple of links that are probably a bit more relevant. These contain information about goaltending styles and cover the specific saves.
