Who at the time had a population of about 20 million. Now we have just over 30 million and still put up amazing teams. Until 1998 you guys …
Until 1998 you guys would send the best of your Russian Pro League. We would send college kids and amateur junior players. Now we both send players of the same level and look what happens. Also Europeans put too much emphasis on the World Championships. We send second rate teams with players who have been sitting around doing nothing since their pro team got eliminated. The only tournaments that matter are the Olympics and World Cup.

Armenian hockey is developing. Our women’s basketball team is currently kicking ass. Now its Hockey. We need to give opporunity and invest in Armenia in different sports spheres and Armenia will excell. All we need is opportunity.

Before this comment, I would like to state that I am not a racist or anything close to that, nor have any kind of prejudgement against Greek or Armenian.
This tournament was held in turkey in 2007. Next year, on the tournament that was held in Serbia, Armenia again defeated Turkey by 13-1. Its true that for both of the tournaments they had illegal players. I can say this, because the same year, 2008, Turkey beat Armenia 24-0 on the u18 tournament. now, they’re not competing in any of the champs.
