How long and how high should pond hockey goals be?
I mean like MAKING a pond hockey goal. Not scoring a goal that’s stupid.

You have two options. If you play without a goalie and is looking for something portable (to avoid getting it stolen), then go for a pond hockey net. They are about the same price or a little more expensive than regulation size nets. If you play with a goalie and the pond/lake is yours and you’re not afraid of getting it stolen, get a 72 inches net. Brand like Black Ice, NHL, are pretty good. They are 72” x 48”.They will be around 100-150 dollars.

The size mainly depends on your preference. These sizes are based on reel nets, they are there to guide you. Of course, you can choose to make a bigger or smaller. If you decide to buy one, don’t use a street hockey one, it won’t last.
